Never have I felt more helpless than a few moments ago when I had a woman pleading with me through sobs and tears to save her husband, as I was trying to give her CPR instructions over the phone. The worst was her 12 year old son hysterically "daddy no" in the background. Days like this, I don't wanna work in Ems anymore.

Since my last post I stalled. I was stalled by fear, by the thought of not being able to maintain our way of life if I get a lower paying job. Financial aide is in place, classes are signed up for. I am officially a college student. I have never been one to hold to resolutions because I hate the feeling of failure and I almost never remember that I am have them do by the end of the year I am very bummed I never achieve them.
